THE WORLD'S WORST PLAY, EVER
"The World's Worst Play, Ever" opened at The Palisades Theatre in the summer of 2011. It would move on to Theatre 68, in Hollywood, CA., the Fall of 2011.
The show is a clever play within-a-play.
The brand new Enterprise Theatre Company, headed up by first time director Jerry Whitman, mounts their first production- "MERRYTOWN". Set in a small town of yesteryear, the eager troupe of amateur actors attempt to explore social commentary via a racially tinged musical love story set in the deep south. Technical mishaps, inept performances and a well intentioned script join forces to make this comedic farce "The World's Worst Play, Ever."
